Changing Coasts....or Coastwise Migrates

An early spring sighting of a flock of many varieties of Coastwise ornithologists was observed near the Exe estuary on 13th February (here seen at feeding grounds on the Goatwalk near Topsham).

The reason ? This was Coastwise North Devon's annual trip South to the Exe Estuary to keep our many birders happy. For your blogger, the highlights were a pair of Red-Breasted Mergansers, a Goldeneye, and of course the avocets. However, all good birders keep a record of what they saw, so here's the list.
