Coastwise members visited the National Marine Aquarium.........

On 10th September, 33 Coastwise members visited the National Marine Aquarium, which is situated next to Sutton Dock in Plymouth. We travelled very comfortably by coach, and had the additional benefit of fantastic weather that allowed a pleasant look round the dock and Hoe after the visit.

Members were given conducted tours of the Aquarium by marine biologists from the staff, and also a look behind the scenes to get a feel for the care that that is lavished on the exhibits.

By general agreement, this was a great day out.
