All that was left of birdy Rob after taking a walk on the wild side along Saunton Sands!
These are large solid – looking jellyfish that are occasionally stranded on the shore, sometimes in large numbers. Averaging around 16" in diameter they can each approach 3 ft, and feed on microscopic marine plankton.
