Sea gherkin, Pawsonia saxicola, here seen out of the water on the underside of a large stone, one of several found on the low shore, ranging in size from 5 – 15 cms. It has 5 rows of tubular feet some just visible on the smooth white body and dark tree – like feeding tentacles withdrawn until the tide returns.
