These popular events allow members to see the marine life that isn't visible to the naked eye – generally a magnification of only 40X is needed to see a whole new world of living fauna.
When kept in seawater, fauna will keep feeding, and what you don't see on the beach is visible.
There's also a lot of embryo fauna present that usually disappears as it forms part of the marine food chain !
