A distinctive red & ceam blob a few millimeters long on the underside of a stone.  I tried to encourage it to stretch out to reveal more of its features but had to be satisfied with this.  

This is the first I have seen of this hydroid in North Devon, though we have found several during out annual visits to southern shores.
