Daisy Anemones, though fairly common in rockpools, are easily overlooked. The trumpet shaped column, which is often out of sight in a crevice or under sediment, usually leads to an inconspicuous partially open disc with a scalloped frilly fringe. Only when fully open is the beautiful patterned disc revealed as shown in the photo.
