One of our most colourful shells, usually shades of either pink, mauve or blue, with a ribbed conical shell which it cleans with its foot, found on the lower shore.

Alongside it is a Greenleaf Worm scouring the rocks for food. A commonly seen worm throughout the year, in summer its green gelatinous egg masses hanging from algae are also a frequent sight.
